I am a second-year PhD student based in Public Health, Policy and Systems within the Institute of Population Health. I have a background in social science and am currently researching the drivers of food insecurity in the UK population and how these experiences impact individual mental health, and related healthcare utilisation. I am happy to help students across all disciplines with questions concerning types of data, choosing statistical tests, regression analysis, hypotheses testing, data visualisation, and have some experience using both spatial and longitudinal data.
I am proficient with R, SPSS and Excel, though primarily use R in my own work. I am happy to help students learn how to navigate R, find a solution to an error, and have experience using both RMarkdown and Quarto for creating high-quality outputs!
