Make an Appointment

Make an appointment in 3 steps. Step 1: Select a staff member. Step 2: Select an available date. Step 3: Select an available timeslot.

Your Liaison Librarians are here to support you by offering one-to-one appointments when you need a bit more in-depth help.

We can help you with your academic work or research including:

  • Finding information for your dissertation or assignment.
  • Advice on using subject-specific resources.
  • Guidance on referencing the sources you use.
  • Please note we are unable to help with open book exam questions

1) Appointments last for 45 minutes and take place either In-person on campus or online via Microsoft Teams, where you can speak face-to-face and share your screen.

2) Before making a booking, take a look and see if your question has already been covered in our Knowledge Base or your subject guide.
If you can't see an available time or you just have a quick question, please email your Liaison Librarian.

3) If you need help with your academic writing skills then consider booking an appointment with one of the Writing@Liverpool tutors who can offer additional support in analysing questions, becoming more critical, or planning and structuring your writing.
