English Language Centre - Pronunciation In-Person
In this session you will focus on connected speech processes, especially assimilation and elision. You will practise how consonants change to match neighbouring sounds and how some sounds disappear in fast speech. You will also train your ear to recognise these patterns in fluent English so you can understand and speak more naturally. This session builds on earlier topics, but it can also be useful on its own.
