English Language Centre - Pronunciation In-Person

In this session you will explore more advanced aspects of sentence stress, including contrastive stress. You will identify words and syllables which are typically stressed in natural speech. You will also learn how context affects stress and will apply this to academic-style sentences to sound clearer and more effective. This session builds on earlier topics, but it can also be useful on its own.
