Online MA/MSc Dissertation Writing Workshop 1 – Language for Establishing a Research Focus Online

In this workshop, the participants will first consider approaches to conducting research at master’s level and the process involved in producing and reporting empirical research, including writing a research proposal.  You will then identify the purposes and language commonly used in a conventional chapter-based master’s dissertation.  Through guided activities, you will practise establishing a research focus/territory and formulating research aims and questions.
