This session focuses on introducing students to AutoCAD and teaching the fundamental skills of designing a building in the software. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to create shapes and designs, use shortcuts and use hatching techniques to create a scaled drawing of 19 Abercromby Square.
It is encouraged that students also attend Part 2 of this session where they will be able to laser-cut their design for model-making!
