Online: Visualising data - simple charts In-Person / Online

This session is aimed at anyone with limited experience in visualising data. By the end of the session you should be able to:

Label graphs appropriately
Represent data in a fair, unbiased way
Recognise which data are suited to certain types of graphs
Recognise inappropriate graphs
Be prepared for interpreting other people’s graphs
The session will run for an hour. After the hour, there will be an optional 30 minutes for anyone wishing to make graphs using Excel. You may find the Making Graphs in Excel Handbook and pratice data useful.
