Students may have noticed a difference in one of the key legal databases available via the Library - Lexis Library - was updated to the new platform Lexis+ recently. All of the content remains the same, however the interface has been upgraded and several new functions have been introduced.

In order to help students navigate this change, our dedicated trainer Zainab from LexisNexis will be providing a number of Lexis+ Legal Research Certification sessions. Both the Legal Research foundation and advanced certifications test your ability to complete essential legal research on the Lexis+ UK platform. It's also a great way to demonstrate your competency in this area to future employers.

There are two certificates available, the foundation and the advanced. You can complete one or both of these, although it’s recommended that you complete the foundation before moving to the advanced. The foundation certification tests candidates on their basic understanding of Lexis+ Legal Research. The advanced certification ensures candidates are sufficiently knowledgeable and comfortable with using Lexis+ Legal Research.

This session is a Foundation Session.
