Do you want to create an online archive for your research? Do you have lots of interesting data - oral histories, photographs, videos, survey data, visualisations, etc - but aren't sure the best way to make it available? This practical session will introduce Omeka software as an accessible tool for creating an archive, and developing research data management strategies that all researchers ( especially PGRs and ECRs ) will find useful for organising and archiving their data. Omeka provides open-source web publishing platforms for sharing digital collections and creating media-rich online exhibits.
Dr Victoria Stobo from LUCAS ( Liverpool University Centre for Archive Studies) will be delivering this workshop, aided by Judith Carr Research Data Manager.
This session will be recorded.
Please note this is an online event. The online event URL will be sent to you in an email confirming your registration.
