The University is currently only providing study space for students who require essential access to study spaces or IT resources that they cannot access from home.
Students who are able to study from home or in their accommodation should do so and avoid travelling to campus.
Opening hours are subject to change in response to any changes in circumstances or new guidance that we receive.
In your studies you may have to compare two means or medians, to see if they are significantly different. This webinar will increase your confidence in understanding the different types of t-tests and to know when to use them.
The session will consider normal distributions and non-parametric equivalents of t-tests, whilst familiarising you with outputs generated in SPSS. If you'd like to attend all of our statistics workshops, we've numbered them to advise you of the best order, but you can pick and choose which ones you'd like to attend.
To join the webinar use this link at the time of the event which should take you into Microsoft Teams. Just log in with your University email using the web, no need to download Teams if you're using a laptop. If using a tablet or phone you will need to install the Microsoft teams app.
You can download the t-test handbook for SPSS if you would like to have a go at performing your own t-tests after the session.
Please note this is an online event. The online event URL will be sent to you in an email confirming your registration.
