The University is currently only providing study space for students who require essential access to study spaces or IT resources that they cannot access from home.
Students who are able to study from home or in their accommodation should do so and avoid travelling to campus.

The five sessions will focus on the following:
1. Word-level punctuation, e.g. apostrophes and hyphens
2. Sentence structure and commas
3. Commas and clauses
4. Lists and examples: commas, colons and semicolons
5. Other uses of commas, colons and semicolons
The aim of this five-week course is to raise your awareness of accurate punctuation and sentence structure. It will help you improve the readability of your writing by developing your punctuation and proof-reading skills.
These classes are open to all faculties: undergraduate students, postgraduate students, research students and staff.
They will be of most benefit to students who speak English as a second or additional language.
Sessions in Semester 2 are the same as those in Semester 1.
Regular attendance is important to ensure that you get full benefit of the course. Students who attend 75% of the course will be eligible for a Certificate of Participation.
