Are you struggling with listening in your lectures or seminars? Come join our sessions to practise listening to a variety of accents of speakers from the UK as well as internationally.
Our aim is to develop your listening skills to increase your confidence and build your strategies to gain more from your studies.
Each session will use different sources of recordings from a variety of topics. Sessions in Semester 2 are different from those in Semester 1.
These classes are open to all faculties: undergraduate students, postgraduate students, research students and staff.
They will be of most benefit to students who speak English as a second or additional language.
Regular attendance is important to ensure that you get full benefit of the course. Students who attend 75% of the course will be eligible for a Certificate of Participation.
