This session is suitable for those students who have already taken and passed the Basic certification test. Advanced Westlaw UK training covers using advanced searching techniques (using search terms and connectors), legislation compare, legislative modifications, key legal concepts, and how to ensure primary sources are accurate and up to date. Students will also see how to find and complete their Advanced Westlaw Certification. As well as improving your legal research skills for your academic work, the certificate makes a great addition to your legal CV! 

You'll need a laptop or desktop computer. If you haven't used WebEx before, have a look at the Help page. Here you can also try joining a test meeting to make sure your devices work.

The session will start promptly, so please be logged in before 2:00pm. Please note that sessions are locked after the start time to reduce disruption to the session. Those that attempt to join the session after the start time will not be able to join.
