KnowHow - Targeted Listening (7) (English Language Centre) In-Person

This KnowHow workshop is part of an 8-week series aimed to develop the Listening Skills you will need for university study.  You need to sign up for each session you want to attend. You can attend any or all of the sessions.

In the Targeted Listening sessions you will listen to recordings and video on a range of academic themes and to a variety of native and non-native accents. Advice will also be given on resources you can use to further develop your Listening Skills in your own time.  

This  session will focus on the theme of A multi-disciplinary research project by University of Liverpool academics and skills practised will include listening to some University of Liverpool academics discussing their research; listen for details and main ideas.

Recordings and supplementary material will be made available after the workshops. It will not be necessary to complete any preparatory work or homework. Materials will be provided at the workshop.
