Publishing in Academic Journals: Tips to Help You Succeed (with Taylor and Francis)

Our ‘Publishing in academic journals: tips to help you succeed’ session will guide you through the process of getting a paper published – from choosing a journal, to what to think about when writing to improve your chances of publication, and then on to how to navigate the peer review process and what you can do once your article is published to increase its impact.

Primarily aimed at early career researchers, we’ll cover article metrics, use of social media, how to respond to reviewers’ comments plus more. By the end of the session you will have a thorough understanding of the steps involved for authors in publishing a journal article, the key information sources you should be aware of, and what you can (and should) be doing to help get that paper published.

This event is being run with Liverpool John Moores and will be held in the Redmonds Building Lecture Theatre 2. Book your place
