Researcher KnowHow: Setting up an ORCiD In-Person

This session is for PGRs and staff

ORCiD provides researchers with a unique digital identifier which helps you distinguish yourself from others. It also provides you with a neutral, non-institutional profile to record and link to your work and professional activities.  Most research systems now use ORCiDs so registering for an ID allows easier inter-operability between the various systems you may be expected to use, including Liverpool Elements.  Having an ORCiD is mandatory in HSS and widely used within the other faculties.

This session will introduce you to ORCiD and help you get set up with an ID and a profile page.
