- Law - Deborah

writing@liverpool.ac.uk Tutor Deborah - Law

I am in the final stages of a PhD in Law and currently teach on the International Relations Theories MA module in the Department of Politics. My research looks at the integration of different international law regimes and collective protections. Prior to completing an LLM in international law from the Irish Centre for Human Rights in Galway, Ireland, I worked in the education sector. At the University of Liverpool I have taught on a range of courses in the School of Law (at LLB and LLM levels) and have a lot of experience in assessing coursework and providing feedback on areas for development. I can support students from any discipline to develop their writing skills. This might be helping with anything from strategies for planning, assignment structure, critical analysis, referencing (including legal referencing) or other areas that you would like help with. As a non-"neurotypical" early career academic, I am comfortable discussing challenges and the process of "building" strategies that stick, for whatever part of the academic journey you are on.
