Researcher KnowHow: Liverpool Elements, Publications and Open Acces In-Person

This session is for PGRs and staff.

Aims: This session will introduce people to Liverpool Elements - the University's system for recording research outputs.  All research staff will need to use Liverpool Elements to record their publications and deposit journals articles and conference proceedings in order to comply with the REF Open Access policy. We will go through how the system works, how to add publications, and look at Open Access in more detail.

Objectives:

Following the session participants will know more about:

  • How to set up your search settings within Liverpool Elements and add publications
  • The benefits of open access and the different types
  • Funder policies on Open Access including for REF
  • Applying for gold open access funding
