Researcher KnowHow: How to get published - IOP Publishing In-Person

This session is for PGRs and staff.

This workshop is aimed mainly for PhD students or early career researchers, who have little  (or no) experience of writing and submitting papers to scientific journals.  It will cover the entire publication process, from writing and submitting a good paper through to seeing it published and widely read and cited by other researchers.  We will give you tips and advice for each stage of the process, including:

•             Selecting the right journal

•             Writing your paper

•             Getting through the peer review process

•             What to do after acceptance of your paper

•             Publication ethics
