This KnowHow workshop will help you learn how to manage exam stress.
Exam stress is vital for effective performance. Many of us do not know how to respond to our stress and as such our ways of coping are often more problematic than the stress itself. In this session we will be exploring some causes of stress from a neuroscience perspective; practical ways of managing our nervous systems more effectively; and exploring some strategies that can help us prepare better for exams.
The session will be a mix of lecture and experiential exercise. There is no assessment and participants have choice whether they want to take part in the experiential exercises or not.
