Researcher KnowHow: Tools to Combat Information Overload In-Person

This event is for postgraduate research students or staff.

Aim:

To introduce attendees to a number of tools that can be used to help them stay up-to-date with new papers, opinion pieces and announcements in their discipline without being overwhelmed by information overload.

Objectives:

Following the session participants will be able to:

 

  • Identify tools for staying up-to-date
  • Know how to use such tools to filter information effectively
  • Know how to share their information filters with others
